News - - - Written by Andre Tjaberings on May 01, 2026 Dear Valued Customer We are advising that several of our roofing suppliers have increased their prices, and to ensure continuity of service we will be passing these increases through across the following ranges: - Fibreglass Products 5% – 8% (1 May 2026) - Aluminium Roofing Accessories 8% – 12% (1 June 2026) - Netting and Underlay 8% – 15% (1 June 2026) - Altimate Roofing 17% (1 July 2026) These increases are a direct result of supplier price adjustments flowing through to the New Zealand market, driven by higher raw material and transport costs. Our commitment to making life easier for our customers remains a priority as we strive to deliver superior service and products to you and your customers.  We understand that pricing changes can be disruptive to project planning, for any queries specific to your projects or active quotes, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Account Manager or local Steel & Tube Branch. Thank you again for your continued support and for choosing Steel & Tube as a key supplier.   Yours sincerely, Peter Reiber | General Manager - Rollforming ### Let Us Know What You Thought about this Post.
